Welcome to Righteous Oaks

Meeting you where you are,

to help you get where you want to be.

Every individual has a God-given purpose. The realization of this purpose is essentially, the realization of our maximum potential. Adversity can hinder–or even prevent–living with purpose and therefore, achieving our potential. Our ability to overcome adversity depends, to a great degree, on what we believe. Free your mind of limiting beliefs and begin your journey towards living your purpose today.

Our MISSION Our OBJECTIVE Our DESIRE
To promote freedom in life and liberation from limitations by teaching skills to live. To empower you to bring about the positive change you seek in your life. To walk with you, on your path of restoration to the Oak of Righteousness you were created to be.

The focus of skills to live is to help develop and/or enhance a core belief system that will:

  1. Empower each individual to meet, overcome, and grow through adversity
  2. Support the continuation of this ongoing growth process
  3. Provide guidance in understanding who you are and why you are here

In addition to formal education Charles brings extensive life experience to the therapeutic process. Born and raised in East TN, at age 15 he received an academic scholarship to Phillips Academy in Andover Massachusetts. He went on to attend college at Penn. After college Charles moved to Cleveland, OH where he spent 4 years in Marketing Research, for the Steel Industry. After this experience he came home to Tennessee and spent the next 20 years in Sales and Marketing for the Telecommunications Industry. Charles has worked in the mental health field for the past 17 years and obtained his MA during that time. This time span also includes experience in Community Mental Health and presently, private practice.

Through these diverse life experiences many valuable lessons were learned. One very important one being that even the most complex human interaction is essentially, person to person. Understanding and facilitating this fundamental nature of human interaction is one of the first steps in a successful therapeutic relationship.
